Executive Chef Jeremy Lamoureux

Chef Jeremy Lamoureux grew up in MidCoast Maine and graduated from SMCC with a degree in Culinary Arts.

Coming from a family of talented home cooks, it was only fitting that Jeremy peruse his passion within the kitchen. Jeremy’s culinary journey began in his early teen years where he spent his summers working at a local lobster co-op in Boothbay Harbor.

While attending SMCC, Jeremy took a position as a prep cook for Marriott at Sable Oaks in South Portland and worked his way up through the ranks to become their Restaurant Chef. Throughout this journey, his mentors gave him the fundamental knowledge and understanding of what it means to run both an efficient and effective kitchen.

For the next two years, Jeremy worked as a sous chef under several reputable restaurants. Expanding his knowledge immensely within various types of cuisine. Throughout this duration, Jeremey’s focus remained centered around his desire to re-invent classic New England dishes using a hyper-local modern approach.

Now the newly appointed Executive Chef at The Brunswick Hotel, Jeremy looks forward to providing his guests with astonishing food, impeccable service, and a unique dining experience.

After many excellent years working with countless award-winning chefs, Jeremy is ready to make his own mark on the Maine culinary scene.
