Join us in The Tavern, Sunday May 8th for our Mother's Day buffet. Make the ladies in your life feel special with a day out and no need to worry about cooking or cleaning. The buffet will be served in The Tavern between the hours of 11 AM and 6 PM. Cost is $46 for adults, $39 for seniors and $24 for children. Chef David Pendexter

Executive Chef David Pendexter serves up well-loved Maine favorites and traditional dishes at The Tavern at the Brunswick Hotel.

A native Mainer, David's mother began sharing the French-inspired dishes of The County with him as soon as he set foot at a young age in the kitchen. David was further influenced by the different regions and countries his family moved to when he was young. Today, his early experience with food from Maine and around the world is reflected in his cuisine. Educated at Johnson and Wales, Chef has extensive experience as a chef in the hospitality industry, including in Maine at The Clarion Hotel, The Higgins Beach Inn, and both the Portland Jetport and Portland Downtown Hilton Garden Inn locations.

Chef David is always reinventing new ways to share the dining experience. The Tavern features an ICE Bar during the winter months and several Whiskey tasting events throughout the summer time.
