There is no shortage of summer fun in MidCoast Maine! If you just can’t decide on a summer vacation date, here are some of the great area events that happen annual in and around Brunswick. Plan your next getaway with your favorite in mind!

Bowdoin International Music Festival
Every year renowned artist instructors, performers, soloists, and gifted pre-professional classical musicians from around the world come to Brunswick and display their special talents to the Midcoast community. Click here to view the full season’s calendar. June 27 – August 8, 2015.

Music on the Mall
A variety of musical talents every Wednesday evening from on the Town Green beginning at 6pm. Pre-order your picnic dinner from the Tavern to make a night of it. Performances will be updated on the Brunswick Downtown Association website.

Brunswick Farmers’ Market
Show your support for local artisans, farmers and fisheries at one of the oldest farmers markets in the state. Located on the Mall in Downtown Brunswick and open rain or shine every Tuesday and Friday from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm from May through November, the abundance of product and produce is sure to satisfy your shopping needs.

Rockland Lobster Festival
Calling all Lobster Lovers! For more than six decades, The Maine Lobster Festival has brought big time fun and entertainment to small town sense of community. Offering parades, crafts, races, US Navy ship tours, US Coast Guard station tours, the world’s greatest lobster cooker and more than 20,000 pounds of lobster, this Maine festival is a showcase of “the way life should be.” Make an adventure of your trip and stay at the hotel before making your way up the coast via the Maine Eastern Railroad. July 29- August 2, 2015.

Great Falls Balloon Festival
Attracting more than 100,000 visitors over the weekend-long celebration, the Great Falls Balloon Festival, this coloful showcase event is fun for the entire family. Balloons launch daily, weather permitting, from 6:00am until 6:00 pm, with the Androscoggin River and rocky Great Falls providing a spectacular backdrop. The festival raises hundreds of thousands of dollars each year by participating non-profits. August 21-23, 2015

Harvest on the Harbor
Maine’s largest culinary event and wine festival with educational seminars, food & beverage tastings, epicurean shopping and celebrations of great Chefs from our region. October 2015.

Maine Street Music Theatre
